Disney+ presents Moonlight in the City – a holiday campaign presenting "Stories from the Heart of Asia" (亚洲剧场、伴你左右).
Soundtracked by a reinterpretation of the popular Mandarin ballad "Moonlight in the City" 《城里的月光》 performed by the song's original singer Mavis Hee (许美静) – who also graciously makes a special cameo appearance – the holiday brand film features Singaporeans of all ages and walks of life singing along to the classic as they enjoy Disney+ amidst Singapore's heartlands.
Showcasing the streaming platform's expanded foray into Asian entertainment, featured new content ranges from Singaporean gems Precious is The Night (今宵多珍重) and Number 1 (男儿王), to the hit Chinese drama series Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace (如懿传) and the highly-anticipated South Korean drama series Snowdrop (雪降花), plus other exciting must-watch titles from across Asia.
As part of the integrated marketing campaign – spanning TV, radio, print, OOH and social media – performance marketing videos were also geo-released in the Chinatown district of Singapore, to attract potential subscribers interested in Asian content. Watch one here.
