"The Little Red Dot" is a term often used in the media, and in casual conversation, as a reference to Singapore.
It refers to how the country is depicted on many world maps as a red dot geographically dwarfed by its neighbours – and has since been adopted by both Singaporean politicians and citizens with pride and a sense of the nation's success despite its physical limitations.
The idea of a little red dot with infinite possibilities takes us to Where Worlds Meet – a global TVC campaign showcasing Singapore as the place to live, work and play.
Filmed across the ever-evolving landscape of the island-state, the red dot takes symbolic centre-stage in the lives of 10 local personalities.
Catalyst and crystallization, vessel and voyage, the people and places become the embodiment of the Singapore Spirit – engendering its collective ambitions and achievements.
Commissioned by the Ministry of Communications & Information (MCI), Singapore, this campaign aired worldwide on Discovery Channel.
